When you feature a 528-watt Lexicon® Discrete 7.1 surround sound system, you start taking sound pretty seriously.Not just lower decibels, but more pleasing ones. Most in-car noise tests check for amount of sound, but not type of sound. Yet we all know a quiet beep is more annoying than a loud violin concerto. Therefore, Genesis engineers didn't just dramatically decrease overall sound levels, they made sure the ones that stayed wouldn't dig into your serenity.
Acoustic laminated glass formed to either side of each window dampens outside road noise. A smooth underbody cover redirects air to minimize the sound of drag. And a myriad of other thoughtful features pepper the car with auditory refinements.
